Linear Algebra & Differential Eqs for Quants
₹ 549 |
4.9(37)
Most quant candidates “know” linear algebra and differential equations. Very few know why they matter on a trading or risk desk. This guide is written to close that gap. Traditional textbooks teach vectors, matrices, eigenvalues, ODEs, and PDEs as abstract mathematics. Interview prep materials reduce them to memorized formulas. Neither explains how these objects actually show up in models, risk systems, calibration failures, or PnL attribution. This note reframes Linear Algebra and Differential Equations as decision tools, not academic topics. What makes this different This is a desk-first mathematical guide designed for: Quant researchers Risk and model validation professionals Aspiring quants preparing for interviews Practitioners who want intuition, not proofs Every concept follows a consistent structure: Math → Geometry → Model → Risk → PnL What you will learn Linear Algebra (Applied, Not Abstract) Vectors as exposures and Greeks Norms as risk constraints and capital limits Eigenvalues as regimes, instability, and crisis indicators Condition numbers as calibration fragility PCA failures when eigenvalue gaps vanish Mahalanobis distance vs naïve risk metrics Differential Equations (Why They Exist in Finance) ODEs as mean-reversion, stability, and equilibrium forces PDEs as no-arbitrage constraints, not math artifacts Boundary conditions as product payoffs Free boundaries in American/Bermudan options Why PDEs fail in high dimensions When Monte Carlo dominates and why Numerics & Stability Euler vs exact schemes (and why Euler lies) Stability regions explained geometrically Why “model works in calm markets but explodes in stress” Sensitivity blow-ups driven by poor conditioning Interview & Desk Translation How to answer “why does this model break?” How eigenvalues explain regime shifts How gradients connect to Greeks How PDE choice determines hedging behavior What this is NOT No long proofs No measure theory No academic formalism for its own sake This is mathematics as used by quants, not mathematicians. Who this is for Candidates who already studied the basics but lack intuition Professionals who want to understand why models fail Anyone who wants math to feel visual, geometric, and practical 🎟 Coupon Code: LADE10 — Get 10% off Disclaimer This material is provided strictly for educational purposes. It does not constitute financial advice, trading advice, or investment recommendations. All examples are simplified for learning and may omit real-world constraints. Ace The Android Interviews
₹ 299 |
4.5(24)
1000 Deep-Dive Questions with Real-World System Thinking Most Android interview prep stops at APIs. This book goes where interviews actually test you. If you’re preparing for Senior, Staff, or Principal Android roles, you already know that interviews are no longer about: “What is ViewModel?” “What is Coroutine?” They are about: Why apps break in production How Android behaves under pressure How to design systems that survive lifecycle, memory, and network failures How to explain trade-offs clearly This book is built for that reality. What This Book Is (and Is Not) ❌ Not a beginner Android book ❌ Not a syntax or API cheat sheet ❌ Not copied blog content ✅ A Staff/Principal-level Android reference ✅ 1000 carefully curated interview questions with deep explanations ✅ Focused on mental models, system design, and real-world constraints This is the book interviewers assume you’ve already internalized. What You’ll Learn This book is divided into 7 structured phases, designed to match how Android interviews scale with seniority. 🔹 Kotlin & Language Mastery Advanced Kotlin features interviewers actually ask about JVM interop, performance, and correctness Why certain Kotlin features exist and when not to use them 🔹 Coroutines & Flow (Deep, Not Surface-Level) Structured concurrency Cancellation, exception handling, backpressure Flow vs channels vs callbacks Real-world async system design 🔹 Android Core (UI, Lifecycle, Correctness) Activity & Fragment lifecycle edge cases Process death & state restoration RecyclerView & UI performance Common production bugs and why they happen 🔹 Android Internals & Performance ART, GC, Zygote, startup types Memory leaks vs OOM ANRs, Binder IPC, threading Battery, thermal throttling, background limits 🔹 Architecture & System Design (Rare & Valuable) Offline-first architecture Sync, replication & conflict resolution Why Last-Write-Wins fails Multi-module architecture Designing Android systems at scale 🔹 Jetpack Compose (Correctly Explained) Declarative UI mental models Recomposition, state, performance Common Compose anti-patterns How Compose changes architecture decisions 🔹 Testing, Tools, CI & Gradle Testing strategies that scale Flaky test elimination Gradle internals & build performance CI/CD pipelines for Android teams Why This Book Is Different Most interview resources teach what to say. This book teaches you how to think. You’ll learn: How to reason about failures How to explain design decisions How to defend trade-offs How to lead technical discussions That’s what separates: ❌ “Good Android developers” ✅ Senior, Staff & Principal engineers Who Should Buy This Book This book is ideal for you if: ✔ You have 3+ years of Android experience ✔ You are preparing for Senior / Staff / Principal interviews ✔ You want to move beyond feature development ✔ You want to understand Android as a system, not just a framework ✔ You want one complete, authoritative reference instead of scattered blogs If you’re a beginner, this book will feel overwhelming. That’s intentional. What You Get 📘 1000 Android interview questions with deep answers 🧠 Mental models that outlast frameworks 🧪 Real-world failure explanations 🏗 System design thinking for Android 🎯 Clear Senior → Staff → Principal progression This is not just interview prep. It’s Android engineering mastery. About the Author Krishanu Nandan is an Android engineer with 10+ years of experience building production Android applications from scratch to scale. His work spans Kotlin, Android internals, performance optimization, offline-first architecture, and system design. He believes great Android engineers are defined not by APIs they know, but by how deeply they understand the platform’s constraints. Final Note If you want to: Pass Android interviews confidently Speak with clarity and depth Be trusted with complex mobile systems This book is written for you. 👉 Buy once. Refer for years.

System Design for Data Engineers
₹ 1499 |
5.0(3)
Real-world architectures. Production trade-offs. Practical thinking. Most system design resources are written for backend engineers or focus on high-level theory. This book is different. System Design for Data Engineers is a practical, production-oriented guide to designing large-scale systems from a data engineering perspective — where ingestion, correctness, latency, cost, and fault tolerance matter more than abstract diagrams. Who this book is for This book is ideal for: Data Engineers preparing for system design interviews Senior engineers moving toward staff, lead, or architect roles Engineers designing real production data platforms Anyone tired of hand-wavy “just use Kafka + Spark” explanations If you work with streaming systems, pipelines, storage layers, or analytics platforms — this book is for you. What you’ll learn You’ll learn how to think about system design the way experienced engineers do: Designing event-driven, fault-tolerant data platforms Choosing the right storage systems for different access patterns Handling idempotency, ordering, and retries correctly Building near real-time ingestion pipelines Designing for multi-tenancy, data isolation, and compliance Scaling systems across regions and availability zones Performing reindexing, backfills, and schema evolution without downtime Making real trade-offs between latency, cost, and consistency What’s inside This book focuses on real system design case studies, not toy examples. You’ll find deep dives into systems such as: Scalable search systems Health data platforms (Apple Health–scale) Streaming ingestion architectures Analytics and aggregation pipelines Multi-region, high-availability designs Each chapter follows a structured template: Problem statement & requirements Data modeling & database design Ingestion & processing pipelines Storage & serving layers Failure modes & operational playbooks Trade-offs and alternatives How this book is different ✅ Written specifically for data engineers ✅ Focuses on production constraints, not academic theory ✅ Covers what breaks in real life — and how to design for it ✅ Interview-ready, but far beyond interview prep ✅ Practical mental models you can apply immediately Format 📘 PDF (more formats coming later) 📈 Continuously updated with new system design case studies 🔁 Free updates for existing buyers Why I wrote this I started writing this book because I saw a clear gap: there was plenty of material on system design for backend engineers, but very little that treated data engineering as a first-class system design discipline. This book is my attempt to fill that gap with practical, opinionated, real-world designs.

Ebook: How to say NO?
₹ 599 |
4.8(9)
The struggle of not being able to say no is most often linked with not knowing “what to say” and “how to say it”. It’s the search for “What words should I use to say no?” But saying no is not all about the words. It’s mainly about claiming one’s own needs AND working through the trap of thoughts and feelings that hold you back from saying no. Think about it. What thoughts do you get in your head when you want to say no? "Maybe I’m overthinking it. I don’t even need to say no…" "Nah. It’s futile to say no. I know they won’t even listen to me…" "What if they take my no in the wrong way? Won’t that affect my job…?" Etc. Such thoughts then stir the feelings of fear, anxiety, nervousness, doubts, resentment, anger… These feelings then fuel those thoughts further, making it a vicious cycle. And in this cycle, your wish to say no ends up suffocating itself to helplessness. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I can never say no...” Each of us goes through this cycle. And it's okay. In this ebook, you'll learn to break this cycle and deal with discomfort which NO brings in your system. Our aim won’t be to not ever encounter this discomfort (because it’s impossible). Our aim will be to encounter this discomfort and still be able to say no confidently. You will: understand ways to identify and question the beliefs which make no difficult for you. get a roadmap to manage your feelings and thoughts when they stop you from saying no. learn all of this by diving into THREE detailed day-to-day scenarios where you’re required to say no. Scenario #1: Saying no to an offered opportunity Scenario #2: Saying no to unwanted conversations Scenario #3: Saying no to someone asking for your help Each scenario is explained in a separate chapter — Not just with the roadmap of working through the thoughts and feelings. But also with the templates which you can copy paste to say no in any kind of communication — be it virtual or in-person; be it personal or professional. The tips used in these scenarios can easily be used in other scenarios. Because it’s about mindset. Once you develop that mindset (which you will in these chapters), you’ll find it easier to say no in other scenarios as well. There are seven chapters to help you bridge the gap between “I can’t say no…” and “I was wrong. I can say no…” We’ll call out your beliefs, thoughts and feelings which have been making no difficult for you. But we’ll do it with deep curiosity and compassion for self. Thus, please keep your harsh criticism and belittling judgments for self at bay while beginning this ebook. Know that it’s abso-freakin-lutely okay if you’ve struggled with no. The good thing is you’re aware of your struggle :) Now it's time to get curious and smash your limiting beliefs of “I can’t say no”. So dive in. Grab your copy right away! I'll see you in the ebook, Ashi
