About me

I lead product and GTM at Scophix. We’re building the living source of truth for how a company’s product actually works, so that PMs, engineers and AI tools all work from the same accurate picture instead of tribal knowledge and stale docs. The problem is personal. At Amazon I once spent two weeks working out why a service rejected one type of request. The engineer who built it had left, the docs said one thing, the code did another, and the answer was buried in a 2019 Jira ticket. I wasn’t doing product work; I was doing archaeology. Every PM who’s asked “why does it work this way?” and got a shrug knows the feeling. Scophix records real user workflows and turns them into a map of how the system actually behaves: diagrams, documentation, and context that AI coding agents can use. Recorded, not written. We’re starting with product managers because they feel the gap most: writing a BRD for a system you didn’t build, scoping a feature without a week of back-and-forth, inheriting a product with no documentation and a lot of opinions. I run these sessions because the best product learning I’ve had has come from PMs describing what’s actually broken in their week. Pick whichever session matches your current headache; each one is 30 minutes, free, and you bring the real thing (the PRD, the codebase, the feature engineering keeps pushing back on). Full disclosure: part of why I do these calls is to learn from working PMs. If what we’ve built is relevant I’ll show it to you; if not, you still leave with a better spec. And if you just want to swap archaeology stories, I’m always up for that.
