About me
Hello to the one reading this :) ,
I'm writing this so you know a little about who you'll actually be connecting with, not just a title or a qualification, but a person.
My name is Saksham Gupta (she/her). I'm a Counselling Psychologist with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, a Corporate Trainer and Workshop Facilitator — and outside of that, a gym regular, a hobby hopper, and someone who genuinely believes chaos makes the muse.
For me, counselling has never just been textbook knowledge.
I've had a close, personal relationship with this space throughout my life - through lived experiences, my own career transitions, and my own therapist who left beautiful marks on me. That's where my connection to this field actually comes from. Not just curiosity, though that's there too, but a real, grounded understanding of what it feels like to sit on the other side of the room.
That's also why I approach this work from a lens that's a little out of the ordinary.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤:
Clinically, I draw on a client-centred, neuroscience-informed, trauma-aware framework, and I hold a non-pathologising view of human struggle. That means I'm not here to label what's happening with you. I'm here to understand it.
𝘐𝘯 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘴: I meet you where you are, and we build from there.
I integrate third wave therapies, and I'm always expanding what I bring into the room because I never want to stop learning, and I don't think the people I work with should be limited by a practitioner who has.
𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭:
I don't want our work together to create a dependency on endless sessions. My goal is that you leave with something real, a shift in how you see yourself, tools that actually work, and enough clarity to keep moving. I'll always be transparent about when the work calls for something beyond what I offer, including referrals to clinical psychologists or psychiatrists when that's genuinely what's needed.
𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦:
I'm someone who loves exploring different things, different ideas, different versions of herself. I'm a Corporate Trainer who finds the overlap between workplace dynamics and mental health fascinating. I'm a gym person who knows what discipline feels like in the body. I'm a hobby hopper who believes that a full life outside work makes a better therapist inside it.
I'm always building my palette. And I bring all of it with me.
