I've read through your playbook, and it seems like great, practical advice for growing a network. I wish I'd read it a year ago! I will try to implement some of your strategies as both short-term and long-term plays. You've sold it as "Networking for Job Seekers", but I think that the value goes beyond that; often we get stuck in our own data and analytics bubbles, and reaching out to people in other organisations is a great way to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices. Given the stage that I'm in at the moment I particularly like section 4.1, as it seems like a great way to get a foot in the door without coming across as annoying or demanding.

yeah I wasn’t sure what to expect when I submitted my CV to Tom for a review. I’m transitioning into a more specialised Data Analyst role within petrochemicals, and although I had the technical experience, I think I struggled to communicate it clearly. Toms process was so simple, just a short questionnaire and my CV uploadbut the result was anything but basic. What I got back was a completely reworked resume that actually looked and read like it belonged to someone in high demand! He pulled out the business impact from what I had written, added sharp hyperfocused language, and restructured everything so that the most valuable parts of my work really did stand out immediately and really clearly.. He even included a quick change log explaining what he updated and why, which helped me understand how to talk about my experience more confidently. There was no meeting or back-and-forth required, but somehow Tom managed to capture my work better than I ever have.
