Six years ago, I joined an early-stage startup. There was no playbook, no handbook, no one to ask what "good" looked like. I built it. I've built and scaled People functions across startups and growth-stage companies. Much of my career has been spent as the first or only People professional in the room, building the foundations from scratch while partnering closely with founders and leadership teams. At Insane Marketers, I established the HR function from the ground up. At 10Times, I served as the sole HR professional, leading everything from hiring and onboarding to employee experience, performance processes, and people operations. Most recently, I led People Advisory & Operations at Funding Societies Modalku Group, supporting teams across India, Hong Kong, and Taiwan while helping strengthen people operations across multiple APAC markets. Across these experiences, I've built recruitment functions, designed performance frameworks, implemented HR processes, supported organizational growth, and helped leaders navigate the people challenges that come with scaling a business. That's the lens I bring to people work, partly because I started my career studying psychology before moving into HR.
