About me

I am an RCI (India) and HCPC (UK) registered Clinical Psychologist from India. Additionally, I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and EMDR therapist. I have over 12 years of experience of working with adults on inter and intra-psychic difficulties in various settings such as hospitals, corporates, university, rehabilitation facilities, de-addiction centers, family court and private practice. I am currently based in the UK and working for the NHS along side my private practice. I have a collaborative approach to psychotherapy and prefer using an eclectic style to facilitate the client(s) in their unique journeys. In my therapeutic practice, I majorly work from a relational lens and psycho-dynamic underpinnings. I implement emotion-focused, insight oriented and solution-focused approaches with my clients. I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist who believes in working from a socio-cultural systemic lens with a focus on inclusion and empowerment. I have a strong belief in the power of a good therapeutic alliance which ultimately promotes recovery, resilience and growth in individuals.
