Testimonials
I had a great experience with the one-on-one mentoring. The sessions were well-structured, practical, and focused on what actually matters for equity research and finance roles. I also got clear guidance on improving my approach and preparing for interviews. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in finance or preparing for the CFA. Great value and a worthwhile experience!
Good session, very honest. I went in thinking my biggest gap was Excel/modeling skills, turns out it was more about how I think through a stock. Wish I'd known some of this before I started prepping. Would highly recommend!

About me
I work on the buy-side (PMS), where my role involves fundamental company research, downside analysis, and contributing to investment decisions.
Over time, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern:
most people preparing for equity research roles are working very hard — but often in the wrong direction.
They focus heavily on:
➤models
➤certifications
➤courses
➤surface-level stock pitches
But struggle with what the role actually demands day-to-day:
clear thinking under uncertainty, judgment calls, downside-first reasoning, and being able to explain why a business could disappoint.
Because of this gap, I now do 1-on-1 guidance conversations for people who are considering or pursuing equity research — especially on the buy-side.
In these conversations, we typically cover:
➤what equity research really looks like in practice
➤how buy-side teams evaluate thinking (not just outputs)
➤where your current preparation may be misaligned
➤what to focus on next — and what you can safely deprioritise
These sessions are guidance-led, with honest feedback woven in — not classroom teaching, templates, or interview coaching.
The goal is simple:
to help you leave with clarity — about whether equity research fits you, and what a realistic path forward looks like from where you are today.
If you’re looking for reassurance, referrals, or quick fixes, this may not be a fit.
If you value grounded perspective and clear direction, it often is.
