About me

Hi, I'm Shivangi Bhadauriya, a trainee counselling psychologist with an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. I currently practice under the clinical supervision of a licensed Clinical Psychologist. My training spans government psychiatric hospitals, a psychiatric rehabilitation center, and hospital-based psychiatry and de-addiction units in Mumbai, where I worked with a wide range of psychiatric and psychological presentations — anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment difficulties, and substance use, among others. I work using evidence based approaches — CBT, REBT, and ACT with a focus on understanding your history and goals first, then building practical strategies together to work through unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns. I don't commit to a fixed number of sessions upfront; that depends on what you're working through. Sessions are currently free, but I do ask for the same commitment you'd bring to a paid session. Please inform me 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. If two sessions are missed without prior notice, I will need to discontinue further sessions, this isn't a punishment, just something necessary to keep the process meaningful and to make space for others who are waiting. A few things worth knowing: I'm not licensed to prescribe medication, and I don't currently offer 24/7 crisis support — if you're in acute distress, please reach out to local emergency services, a trusted person, or a crisis helpline. All sessions are confidential and follow the ethical standards of supervised clinical practice. For queries or scheduling: shivangib.psychologist@gmail.com
