I have spent more than 15 years in human resources, across information technology, education technology, and ecommerce logistics. I built HR functions from scratch in startup environments and led HR business partnering for companies with more than 500 employees. Before that, I was a corporate HR consultant at Hewitt Associates. I hold a postgraduate qualification in human resource management from XLRI Jamshedpur. Since 2020, I have worked as an independent HR consultant, advising more than 20 companies on hiring, performance management and talent strategy. For several clients, a redesigned employee engagement process lifted retention by 15 to 20 percent. In my last full time HR leadership role, I cut hiring costs by half by moving to referral, social media, and job portal based recruiting. I built a new hire onboarding program that cut new hire attrition by 25 percent, and ran an engagement survey with more than 90 percent participation.
