I am building supervisedlearning.com and I help IT professionals transition into Data Science through 18 week live training program. 600+ working professionals successfully made their transition with this course. Get in touch to know more details I've always had a passion for teaching, but the path to this point was not straightforward. The desire to build on my own has been a childhood dream. Right after my undergrad, I worked on building a startup focused on assisting students with real-world projects and pivoted into transforming ideas into functional prototypes. One day, I came across a Ted Talk on how a law was being misused. It moved me so deeply that I wanted to verify the claim. For next 2 days I worked hard to create dashboard on conviction rates across crimes in India based on the data published by Govt of India. That self driven project taught me joy of analysing data, driving insights. I decided to build an impactful career in the Data world. The upskilling journey from failed entrepreneur to a data scientist was quite arduous and the lessons learnt are foundation stones for my cohort based learning. Over 4 years from 2015 to 2019, I worked on solving problems in Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning in E-commerce, Marketing, CPG domains. To cope up the challenges in industry, I chose to up-skill through prestigious IIIT Hyderabad's PGSSP program. During my role as a data scientist, I noted a huge skill gap in data science and aspiring working professionals struggled the most to enter data science. I aspired to solve this problem. As a first step, I worked with many small & big teams in building curriculum, delivering lectures for entire cohorts. As I looked to create bigger impact, I built a live training program providing real-time, interactive mentorship from zero and thus started Supervised Learning. I went on to create more advanced programs like NLP 100 hours. After being part of 500+ successful transitions, I realized this is work which aligns my desires of teaching and creating an impact. I believe that Educators in Tech should be practitioners. 30% of my time goes into building solutions in data science, AI, NLP help industry embrace data science.
