About me

Hi, I’m Nishant Pujari. I have a slightly inconvenient habit of trying to figure out why things work the way they do. I started out as an engineer and spent over a decade in the Indian automotive industry, working in R&D at Hyundai, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki. Then I decided to leave all of that and build a startup. I co-founded a consumer tech company and took it from zero to ₹1.6 Cr+ revenue in under 10 months while being bootstrapped. That experience changed the way I look at businesses. Because when you're starting from zero, you quickly realise that having a good idea is the easiest part. The difficult part is figuring out: Is this actually a problem worth solving? Who cares enough to pay for it? What would make them choose this over the alternatives? What should I build first? And perhaps most importantly - what does the market actually think about all of this? This is what I now help people with. I work with people in their 0 → 1 journey. You might be a corporate professional sitting on a business idea but unsure whether you should take the leap. Or you might already be a founder, somewhere deep in the trenches, with ten different problems screaming for your attention and no obvious answer as to which one matters most. My belief is pretty simple: You might think customers would love my idea, but will they pay for it? That's a different and most important question! Instead of spending months building something and then hoping people want it, I believe in testing the market early, listening carefully to what it tells us, and then iterating and reiterating until we find the right foundation. And sometimes, the right answer is not to build the business at all. If the market keeps telling us that the problem isn't painful enough, customers aren't willing to pay, or the economics simply don't make sense - I'd rather help you discover that early. Because walking away from an idea after spending a few weeks and a relatively small amount of money is very different from discovering the same thing after spending a year and a significant chunk of your savings. The goal, therefore, isn't simply to "launch." It's to get to a point where you have enough real-world evidence to say: “Yes. This is worth building.” And then build it on a foundation that is strong enough to scaling. I don't have a magical formula that guarantees you'll build the next unicorn. I do have experience building from zero, a structured way of thinking through messy problems, and enough scar tissue to tell you when I think you're going in the wrong direction. If you're somewhere between “I have an idea” and “I need to figure this business out”, that's probably a conversation worth having.
