About me

Hi, I’m Ninaad. I’m a business and operations leader with 9+ years of experience building and scaling businesses across category management, P&L, supply, service operations and customer experience. I joined Urban Company in 2019, relatively early in its journey, and had the opportunity to grow with the company for over 7 years, from managing individual categories to leading the Home Painting business. I got to experience the journey of UC transitioning from being a fast growing startup to becoming a publicly listed company, while working across some very different stages of scale. Along the way, I’ve built teams, owned P&Ls, improved service quality, launched new operating models, worked on supply side challenges and solved plenty of messy business problems. In my last role, I was responsible for a ~$7M GMV business and drove 50% YoY growth while improving profitability. I’m now leading Servicing at SolarSquare, where I’m working on building a scalable servicing organisation and solving the operational challenges that come with a rapidly growing business. What I’ve enjoyed most throughout my career is figuring out problems where there isn’t an obvious answer , deciding what actually matters, making decisions with incomplete information, getting teams aligned, and turning ideas into execution. That’s also what I’d like to bring to my conversations on Topmate. I can help with: • Career decisions and navigating your next move • Transitioning into leadership and managing larger teams • Business & operations problem-solving • P&L and category management • Building scalable processes and operating models • Service operations, customer experience & supply • Thinking through ambiguous business situations I’ll keep these conversations practical and honest — grounded in things I’ve actually experienced rather than generic frameworks. If you’re stuck on a career decision, dealing with a business problem, or simply want to bounce an idea off someone who has been in the trenches, let’s talk.
