What is Multithreading


Multithreading is a programming paradigm that allows multiple threads of execution to run concurrently within a single application. A thread is the smallest unit of execution that can be scheduled by the operating system. Unlike processes, which have separate memory spaces, threads within the same process share the same memory space, making inter-thread communication fast and efficient.
