About me
I currently work as an Engineering Manager at Zeko.ai, where I started my journey in 2022 as a DevOps trainee and grew into leading platform architecture and a team of engineers.
My work lives at the intersection of cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and developer experience. I’ve designed and operated production systems across AWS and Azure, migrated monoliths to microservices, reduced cloud costs by 75–80%, and built platforms that pass SOC2, ISO, and GDPR audits without turning engineers into paperwork machines.
Some things I’ve spent a lot of time thinking deeply about:
• Designing Kubernetes platforms that are simple, observable, and boring (the good kind)
• Building GitOps-driven CI/CD with Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions
• Cost optimization in serverless and containerized workloads
• Migrating from fragile setups to production-grade, auditable infrastructure
• Real-world observability using OpenTelemetry (logs, metrics, traces — in one place)
• Event-driven systems using Redis, queues, background workers, and async pipelines
• Running and maintaining open-source infrastructure in production
I’m opinionated about one thing:
Infrastructure should reduce cognitive load, not increase it.
If a junior engineer can’t understand it in a week, it’s probably over-engineered.
On Topmate, I mentor engineers who want to:
• Break into DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Prepare for system design or DevOps interviews
• Review their cloud architecture or CI/CD pipelines
• Get guidance on career growth from DevOps → Senior → Lead / Manager
• Make sense of Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud costs without losing their sanity
If you’re looking for textbook answers, the internet is full of them.
If you want battle-tested advice from someone who’s broken (and fixed) real systems, you’re in the right place.
