About me

I'm Divesh, a 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿 who builds things: GCCs, analytics teams, leadership cultures, and occasionally, poetry that surprises people at board meetings. Two decades. Five Global Capability Centers built from scratch. 2,500+ professionals scaled across India, Philippines, and Japan. A $130M+ P&L. And somehow, I still find time to Google myself. (Purely for quality control purposes, I assure you.) Beyond operating roles, I 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲 organizations on growth, transformation, and strategy, which is a sophisticated way of saying I help smart people avoid the mistakes I've already made. I write. A lot. The 𝗚𝗖𝗖 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗿𝗮𝘃𝘆𝘂𝗵𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 explores the strategic traps GCC leaders walk into, named after an ancient military formation you enter with confidence and exit with humility. 𝗗𝗶𝘃' 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 is my more candid take on what really happens behind closed executive doors. And, 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗿𝗮𝘀, my leadership poetry series, maps nine ancient Indian emotions onto the modern leadership journey, because sometimes a spreadsheet just doesn't capture what a quarter actually felt like. But I also write poems about love, loss, longing, and the ordinary magic of being human. Leadership isn't the only thing worth feeling deeply about. I'm passionate about bridging industry and academia, co-founded 3AI, India's first nonprofit for AI and Analytics professionals, because the next great business insight is probably sitting in a PhD thesis no one in a corner office has read yet. I'm fixing that, one ecosystem at a time, and pursuing my own Executive PhD along the way. Outside the boardroom? I sing, genuinely, not just in the shower. I played cricket at state level, which means I understand both the agony of a dropped catch and the discipline of a long innings. And I'm a father to two teenagers, which if I'm being honest is the most humbling leadership role I've ever held. No P&L prepares you for that negotiation. Joined this founding cohort because the best leaders never stop being students. And anyone curious enough to join a beta community clearly hasn't let success make them boring, my kind of people.
