I recently had a 1-on-1 consultation with Deepali regarding my study abroad plans, and it was honestly a very reassuring experience. From the very beginning, she created such a calm and comfortable environment that there was no awkwardness at all, it felt easy to open up and share my confusion. I started the session feeling quite unsure and overwhelmed, but as the conversation progressed, things became much clearer. What I really appreciated was how she didn’t push me toward any particular decision. Instead, she patiently walked me through all the options, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each choice and what the outcomes could look like. By the end of the session, I found myself genuinely considering a university that I had initially kept as my last option, mainly because she helped me understand its ROI and long-term value in a much more practical way. Overall, the session was extremely helpful, insightful, and comforting. It gave me clarity as well as confidence in my decision-making process.

I had a great time chatting with Deepali. The session was extremely insightful unlike many career counseling sessions where I am left even more confused. I have gotten a lot more clarity in what direction I want to take. The one thing I loved about the session the most was the lead she took in asking pointed questions which actually gave me clarity in avenues I didn't know I needed clarity in. So overall it was a great session :)

I joined this workshop feeling completely overwhelmed. I had spoken to multiple counsellors but still didn’t know if I was making the right decision. What I appreciated most was how honest this was. Deepali actually explained how to think about countries, courses, and ROI instead of just telling us what to apply for. I know what makes sense for my profile, what doesn’t, and what my next steps should be. Honestly, for the price, this gave me way more clarity than paid consultations I’ve done before. Really glad I attended.

About me
I didn’t follow a straight-line career. And honestly, I’m glad I didn’t.
Like most students, I grew up around very defined ideas of 'success' - good degrees, safe careers, predictable paths. But when I actually entered the real world, I realised something uncomfortable very early on:
College teaches theory. Strong early careers are built very differently.
I made mistakes. I second-guessed myself. I felt lost more times than I’d like to admit.
What I didn’t have back then was:
- Someone who would sit with me, mentor me, and actually listen
- Someone who wasn’t trying to sell me a course, a degree, or a dream
- Someone who could say, 'Here’s what really works and here’s what doesn’t'
Over time, through real jobs both in London and India, real failures, global exposure, and a very non-linear journey (Finance to marketing to industry changes), I started seeing patterns most freshers aren’t taught early enough.
That’s when I decided to become the early career mentor I wish I had.
