👋 Hi there, I’m Alyssa (she/her)! 🍵 A little Tea about me... I’m an Asian American product designer with 2+ years of experience across different industries (sustainable fashion, AI, mental health, consumer services, and gaming) in the startup world. With my background in psychology and English, I taught myself product design to create a positive impact on users worldwide. 🧠 I was a Founding Product Designer @ Sonar providing equitable access to mental health resources and support for Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and their community of supporters (friends, parents, counselors, and teachers) across the United States. 🧋 Why did I become a mentor? I decided to mentor college students through BT because I understand what it's like to feel lost. When I started my product design career, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I didn't know how to network or how to even launch my tech career. Honestly, I was just winging it and using YouTube University. I was just a ✨ silly girly with a dream and ambition ✨ (past Alyssa was truly hoping for the best!).
