Hi, I'm Alejandra 👋 As Experience Design Manager, a core part of my role is helping designers grow their careers: I've defined career paths starting practices from scratch, I interview and select talent for both client projects and new hires joining the global tech consultancy I work at. That gives me a direct, current line of sight into what the market actually looks for in designers, at every level. I use that same lens to help people either move into more strategic, senior roles or break into design from a different background. I got my MSc in Product Service System Design from Politecnico di Milano, and over the past 8+ years I've worked across service design, CX strategy, and research leadership, with work published in the Service Design Network Touchpoint Magazine and presented at International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation. I mentor designers and researchers who want to: ✅ Build a portfolio and narrative that gets them promoted or hired into leadership roles ✅ Navigate the jump from IC to managing a team (especially across countries/cultures) ✅ Break into design from an adjacent field, with a plan grounded in what hiring managers are actually looking for ✅ Bring AI into their research practice responsibly, without losing rigor or trust with stakeholders I work in both English and Spanish, and I have a particular soft spot for LATAM professionals navigating global career moves, I've been there.
