About me

I qualified the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) in my very first attempt, was selected and trained at the Air Force Academy, and lived the life that many defence aspirants dream of. That experience shaped me in ways no classroom ever could. It taught me a simple truth: motivation can get you started, but clarity, discipline, and mental resilience are what carry you through. Behind every confident cadet is self-doubt. Behind every uniform is exhaustion, fear, and relentless self-assessment. These are things aspirants are rarely told. During my time in the Indian Air Force, though brief, I developed Officer Like Qualities (OLQs)—resource and time management, stress handling, leadership, decision-making, and the ability to perform under pressure. More importantly, I gained perspective. I learned how the system actually works and why many capable candidates fall short—not due to lack of ability, but lack of clarity and alignment. One thing the SSB looks for very closely is this: Are your thoughts, words, and actions in sync? Are you trying to “perform,” or are you being real? The board is not searching for perfection. It is assessing authenticity—whether this is truly you, or a version you are trying to project. Since then, I have carried these values into civilian leadership roles—working as Manager of Operations at a deep-tech startup, supporting large R&D and strategic projects, and currently serving as a Project Analyst in the Strategy, Governance, and Planning team at the Center for Creative Leadership. These experiences have deepened my understanding of leadership, psychology, performance, and decision-making—the very foundations the defence forces evaluate. Over time, I have guided 5 aspirants successfully towards the Indian Air Force, helping them understand: How AFSB actually evaluates candidates How OLQs are demonstrated, not memorized How to think, speak, and respond authentically in interviews How to handle screening, psychology tests, GTO tasks, and interviews How to manage pressure, self-doubt, and setbacks If you are a defence aspirant seeking honest guidance from someone who has walked the path, mentorship that focuses on who you are becoming, not just clearing an exam, I will be glad to guide you. The uniform is not just worn. It is earned, internally first.
