I am an AWS DevOps Professional certified with over 6 years of professional experience. Currently, I hold the position of Senior DevOps - Data Engineer at NewPage, where I am responsible for designing and leading projects related to custom data processing pipelines. These pipelines are specifically focused on efficiently processing large-scale datasets and integrating real-time analytics. Additionally, I collaborate closely with data science engineers and neuroscientists to automate the underlying infrastructure required to run these extensive processing pipelines. I have been working with NewPage for more than 4 years, during which I have led, designed, and built cloud-based data engineering tools and projects from scratch. Notable examples include the development of genotype monorail, imputation, MRI-based imaging toolkit, and data lake data models. These projects have supported the processing of over 500TB of data across different modalities in a production environment. Prior to joining NewPage, I served as a DevOps Engineer at FINJA, a fintech startup. In that role, I played a key role in building automated infrastructure.
