Mastering Swagger & Postman for Product Teams

APIs are at the heart of every digital product, but for many PMs, POs, and BAs, they often feel overly technical. In reality, you don’t need to be a developer to understand APIs — you just need to know how to read them, test them, and translate that knowledge into better product decisions.

In this session, I’ll walk you through API documentation using Swagger and show you how to interpret endpoints, methods, parameters, and responses. You’ll learn how to identify what’s possible today, spot gaps early, and scope features more realistically.

We’ll also do hands-on testing with Postman, where you’ll see how to send sample payloads, validate responses, and confirm feasibility. This will give you the confidence to collaborate with engineering teams more effectively and avoid last-minute surprises.
