I’ve known him since school—honestly, I don’t even remember when we became friends, it just feels like he’s always been there. A couple of years back, I was at a low point—uncertain, overwhelmed, and unsure of where my life was headed. I reached out to him, and that one conversation became a turning point.
He knew I was into photography, cinematography, and editing, and suggested I try design seriously. He gifted me a Udemy course to get started, and within 10 days, he pushed me to create a dedicated design account: @field_of_flex. Under his guidance, I started posting daily—single designs and carousel posts—and he personally helped craft SEO-optimized captions for each post on both Instagram and LinkedIn to maximize reach.
In no time, things started taking shape. My skills improved, people began noticing, and thanks to a strategic Fiverr profile and a carousel ad he guided me to create, I landed a remote internship through one of his ex-colleagues—without him even knowing. I surprised him with the news on New Year’s Eve 2021. It was special for both of us.
Later, we teamed up to build something together—CodeInnHQ, along with a talented frontend engineer. I handled everything design—UI/UX, social media creatives, product visuals, even reel edits. It’s been an amazing journey, and I owe so much of it to his belief in me and his consistent mentorship. I worked on-site in Delhi for a year, and now I’m back in Kolkata, working remotely.
He didn’t just help me find a career—he helped me rediscover my confidence. Forever grateful.
I was going through a tough phase financially when a close college friend stepped in and offered me a chance to join his company as a designer. He not only started mentoring me from the ground up but also connected me with a supportive community and real client work. Thanks to his guidance, I'm learning fast and finally seeing a clear path for growth in my career.
