Yasir is an IT consultant with providing data related solutions/pathways/approaches for projects in OLTP, OLAP, Starflake, Snowflake, Data Migration, from a combination of on-prem DWHs and Cloudbased DWHs. Yasir is an experienced data analyst, SQL database developer and data modeler with a history of successfully designing, implementing, maintaining, and documenting both simple and complex database applications in global environments and various industries such as transportation, logistics, finance, healthcare, retail and HR & legal. As Data Modeler/Designer, Yasir supports complex data needs – both support and development - Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence teams, leading/assisting other designers on the largest, most challenging, cross-functional projects. Yasir's Primary Responsibilities: · Partnering with multiple application teams to define data needs, influence data (and application) design and align with Enterprise goals. · Designing relational databases in Erwin, IBM DB2, SQL Server and/or Teradata environments; creating data and process solutions for business and systems requirements. . Drawing the logical mapping diagrams from source to target data sets. providing the channels to how to fees the data into data models. · Leading requirements gathering meetings with application teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and/or business partners to understand business needs; helping define and anticipate business needs. · Performing quality assurance on data models utilizing Erwin/ ER-Studio to ensure requirements have been met and design is optimal for functionality and performance. · Resolving medium to complex data integration issues. . Applying Reverse and Forward Engineering onto different DDLs and Data Models, to generate SQL Script and Data Models. · Establishing, and enforcing, data standards and best practices. · Excellent communication, presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
