Leading the SAP SFLMS design and implementation team at all sites of Unichem with unique way to achieve compliance. Journey in Training function since 2010 has been a fascinating one. Taking up the responsibility to set up a Learning department in a Pharma environment which is highly regulated one, was in itself a Himalayan task with no legacy behind. Starting from scratch the L and OD function has taken baby steps towards growth and is now firmly grounded to take big leaps in helping the organisation develop the necessary skill sets and nurture future leadership. The journey has been part of four USFDA audits with compliance to training. Other major regulatory compliances include the European audits, QMS system compliance, PMDA. The most exciting of the regulatory USFDA audit was the one entrusted on me for Dahej Plant of Sun Pharma at a very short notice and was successfully accomplished. The journey would not be exciting with out the people support. To get people into the learning mode and also the challenge to change the conservative environment to a more inclusive yet giving people exposure and the culture they feel is there's , initiatives like the GPTW intervention proved to be fruitful. As an anchor to this program I have experienced the change in the environment which will keep on enhancing. Quality as a major cultural mindset is the pivotal to a Pharma organization. The Quality Communication program helped in creating awareness and responsibility. Being a Champion of the program have been instrumental in implementing and institutionalizing the learning of the program. Much more avenues to be achieved.
