About me

Hi, I’m Yashika 🤍 I’m an economics professional, currently working in the field of public policy, but I’ve always found myself drawn to the in-between — the things we feel but don’t always say. I spent a year studying in Nottingham, and that time away from home taught me more than textbooks ever could — about identity, change, and what it means to belong in more than one place. Since the last decade, I’ve been writing my way through those shifts — sharing reflections, stories, and soft truths on my page @in_the_name_of_writing, a quiet corner of the internet where many come just to feel a little less alone. These 1:1 sessions are a continuation of that space — for honest conversations and creative unpacking. We can talk about: The emotional side of living or studying abroad Finding comfort in unfamiliar places Navigating transitions, identity shifts, or feeling like you’re between versions of yourself Or simply… the things you’ve been carrying that need a gentle place to land No fixing. No performance. Just space — to talk, reflect, and be met where you are.
