Hi! This is Yashaswini Kulkarni, based out of Bangalore, India but currently exploring and thriving in New York, United States. I am a Computer Science graduate currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Data Science at Syracuse University. I believe that "Data creates magic". The very fact that the available data within a business can be analyzed and can be churned into actionable insights has always fascinated me! Hence, I would love to explore the data domain in more detail and make a career out of it. Here is a small summary of my life on this journey: Post my bachelor's, I did an internship at Manhattan Associates India Development Center for 6 months where I was actively involved in automated testing. Here, I learned about microservice architecture, Java - Spring library, JIRA, Bitbucket, and GitHub. After the internship, I was offered the role of software engineer based on my performance at the same company. During this, I was a part of the performance engineering team wherein I worked on writing Python scripts to identify performance gaps in the Manhattan Active Transportation System (MATM), especially under huge volumes of 50,000 rows. I have consciously put in efforts for honing my skills in this field. I have worked on small-scale personal projects where I have worked with SQL, Python, R, Statistics, and Data Analysis.
