I am a Software Engineer at Google, working in the Google Cloud team on Spatial Flex. Previously, I specialized in building and optimizing scalable backend systems within the Credit Underwriting domain at Navi Technologies. My expertise spans Java, Kotlin, Spring, and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on delivering high-performance solutions and enhancing system architecture throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). At Navi, I led multiple initiatives to streamline processes and reduce developer bandwidth, including automating ML model feature creation and enabling feature automation in policy systems. These efforts eliminated back-and-forth between policymakers and developers, reducing a 2-day developer effort to mere seconds for each model integration. Additionally, I played a key role in implementing income waterfall changes, improving income validation accuracy by 20%, and driving a daily business profit of ₹3-4 crore. I also led underwriting for Home Loans and spearheaded the migration of the home loan underwriting system from a monolithic architecture to microservices. This transformation empowered policymakers with a self-serve system, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations, reducing developer dependency, and improving system reliability while lowering latency. Previously, I completed my M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras, where I played a key role in porting the Java Runtime Environment to the RISC-V Shakti Indigenous Processor, enabling Java support and significantly improving performance.
