This 1:1 session is for students who are interested in astronomy or astrophysics but are unsure what kind of project would be suitable for them.

We'll start with your interests, current skill level, available resources and the time you have, and use those to identify realistic project directions.

We can explore:

1. Observational astronomy projects
2. Computational and simulation-based projects
3. Data analysis projects using publicly available datasets
4. Stellar, galactic, solar or cosmological topics
5. Projects suited to your academic level
6. Tools, software or programming skills you may need
7. How to turn a broad interest into a focused project question
8. Possible ways to develop the project further

The goal isn't to simply give you a list of topics. It's to help you find a project that is interesting, feasible and appropriate for where you are right now.
