With over 12 years in digital marketing, publishing, editing, coaching (of writers and editors), and management consulting experience, I have a deep understanding of content, business, and where they intersect. This means I can design content that helps an organization achieve its larger goals of reputation, relationships, and revenue. Currently, I am the Assistant Managing Editor at Sportskeeda, one of India’s largest online sports publications with a strong global presence as well. I started off as a Senior Editor but was promoted to Assistant Managing Editor within a few months because my knowledge of content and workflows made life easier for the teams. Like: 1.) Identifying and preventing recurring problems (not just solving them), 2.) Streamlining operations, 3.) Designing guidelines, 4.) Generating new ideas to grow the division and, 5.) Coaching editors and writers in real-time. As a content marketer, I designed and executed strategies for senior leaders and entrepreneurs with almost zero online presence and turned them into thought leaders. As a management consultant, I helped startups streamline processes and grow. All along, I published my personal learning on various platforms, including popular Medium publications, Thrive Global, Inc42, LinkedIn, and Quora. I still write micro-blogs on LinkedIn and on Effect Hive. Plus, I help professionals make their written business communication clear, concise, and persuasive so that they can Get Things Done. (This includes emails, texts, Slack messages, reports, and presentations.) Other hobbies of mine include motorcycling, swimming, playing the guitar, and drooling over automobiles.
