Exploring data to deduce relationships between variables, using plots to visualise those relationships, and driving insights through these processes give me immense joy. Singing my heart out and composing melodies accompanied by my guitar are blissful. Mathematics is my first love, and music, my second. But what is the connection between these two significantly diverse fields? Both music and math, are forms of art! Only when one views both these fields as forms of art, could one relish their beauty! Mastering a form of art takes the shape of an asymptote! It continually approaches the curve of perfection, but never meets it. I am consistently working on the art I want to master - Data Science and Statistical Learning. But at the end of the day, it is all about how creative a Data Scientist can be. The tools/softwares available in the market are equivalent to colors and paintbrushes available to a painter, instruments available to a musician and ingredients available to a cook. Different artists exploit their tools in different ways. There is no " one right way ". I have had a taste of analytically solving industry problems across Healthcare, Sports, Media/Entertainment, Engineering, and so on. Which one has been my favorite? All of them. Afterall, all industries impact our lives, and all I ask is to be given a chance to play, even if the smallest, a significant role. I want to make a difference!
