I'm mostly known for my campaign called #MyTrainToo, for accessible Indian railways, which resulted in a revolutionary change across 9 stations all over India. Implementation of portable ramps, aisle sized wheelchairs, and sensitisation of all railway staff was completed across these stations in various cities. Due to this, I was named as one of the most inspirational and influential women of 2017 by BBC 100 Women. This resulted in the conception of my motivational speaking career, where I've given three TEDx talks, spoken at many corporates, events, schools, and NGOs. I started modelling since there's no representation of people with disabilities in mainstream media, I've "walked" the ramp on three occasions, won second place in the Miss Wheelchair India pageant in 2014, and went on to model professionally for Big Bazaar, Being Human, and WDW (a lingerie brand). I've constantly been an advocate of positivity, disability awareness, and hope.
