After obtaining a Bachelor in Electronics and Communications Engineering, I began my professional journey by taking up a role as a strategy analyst in The Smart Cube – a global analytics and research services provider. I delivered customized, actionable and high-value research outputs on market intelligence, competitive benchmarking and sourcing strategy for Fortune 500 clients in Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors. After a ~1 year stint, I moved to France to pursue MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School. As a member of the Digital Disruption Chair sponsored by BNPP, I learned to devise powerful digital transformation strategies by analyzing the business impact of digital technologies (AI, AR, IoT etc.) in different sectors like e-commerce, luxury, banking etc. To gain more practical experience, I took up an internship at Schneider Electric where I worked on the global deployment of a B2C tool across multiple digital channels to enhance the digital presence of a key product category of Schneider’s in the residential segment. I fine-tuned my project management & communication skills and learned to generate strategic insights through consumer-behavior analysis and incorporate them in product/service design. Post-graduation, I have been with Amazon for 3y+ now as a Supply Chain Manager. I drive improvements in volume forecasting, inventory placement, and transportation network planning to achieve a lower cost to serve and unlock greater speed and preciseness in meeting customer demand. Supply Chain is a complex and fast-moving space where you constantly have to choose the right trade-offs and exercise good judgement whilst dealing with high uncertainty and volatility. I have been privileged to navigate this space leveraging strong cross-functional relationships with different orgs united in our goal to improve the end-to-end customer experience of ordering a product on Amazon. I fear stagnation of knowledge and skills and never want to stop learning. I believe my professional journey has just begun and my goal is to keep it as enriching, meaningful, and interesting as possible.
