About me
Five years ago, I was busy debugging code in India as a Software Developer. Today, I'm a Master's student at Duke University specialising in Machine Learning, trying to debug life abroad. Turns out, fixing production bugs is sometimes easier than figuring out healthcare, taxes, or why peanut butter comes in so many varieties.
My journey has taken me from writing software and solving technical problems to navigating classrooms, cultures, and career opportunities across continents. Along the way, I've collected plenty of stories, lessons, mistakes, and "I wish someone had told me this earlier" moments.
Having spent five years in the tech industry before moving to the U.S., I understand both sides of the journey, the professional wondering whether an international move is worth it and the student trying to make sense of a brand-new environment.
I'm endlessly curious about people, technology, and what happens when you step outside your comfort zone. That's also why I enjoy helping students and professionals who are considering studying, working, or building a life abroad.
If you've ever wondered, "How does life abroad actually work?" you're asking the same questions I once did. Fortunately, I've already made some of the mistakes, so you don't have to.
