I am an engineer who moved into product and solutions work. Two years at Capgemini on production reliability for Fortune 500 retail and hospitality systems, fifteen months at MathCo on a B2B AI and analytics product, then an MBA at IIM Udaipur, now a forward deployed solutions consultant at SimpliContract in Bangalore. I went the off campus route in Bangalore and it took six months. Two things I learnt in that time. Cold applications do almost nothing. LinkedIn Easy Apply got me exactly one resume download in six months. Every process that went anywhere came through a person. The bigger one. I had done the work and my resume did not say so. Two years of production experience, fifteen months of product experience, and I still could not get half of it on the page. Not because I could not write. Because I did not recognise that half of it counted. That gap is what I help with. Not formatting, not a rewrite. Getting what you actually did into language the person reading it reads as relevant to the role you want.
