With over 12 years of experience in data science and analytics, I am passionate about building products that enhance safety and integrity on online platforms. I have expertise in risk and payments integrity, threat detection, and content review, using technologies such as R, Haskell, and SQL. I currently manage a team of Data Scientists and Data Analysts at TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile videos. In my current role, I lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to improve threat detection and child safety on TikTok Livestream. I collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and execute detection, enforcement, and capacity forecasting strategies for TikTok and its sister apps. I also leverage my previous experience at Meta, where I worked on commerce portfolio and checkout features for Facebook and Instagram, to bring best practices and insights to TikTok.
