Vimal Kumar is an Aspiring Entrepreneur and Startup Guy, working dedicatedly in amalgamating innovative science and technology to solve the biggest common man problems and build the right solutions that help them lead a better and happier life. He is passionate about electronic product design, innovation management, and healthcare and medical technologies. He spends pretty much every day thinking about how we can use technology to make healthcare and medicare more engaging and accessible. He began his career with Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, as an Associate Software Developer. His work contributed to the software development of instrument clusters of the Volkswagen Audi Group and BMW, specifically on odometers and speedometers modules. During his period in Robert Bosch, he has led and organized several innovation hackathons, FDPs and has also led the initiative of Gadget Library @ RBEI at Coimbatore and Bangalore - a library to lend electronic gadgets and components for rapid prototyping. Later, Vimal joined Forge Accelerator as Program Associate and worked closely with Government, Industry, and Corporates to enable Open Innovation Ecosystem, bridging the Deep-Tech Startups. He has been a technical and innovation mentor for several student teams and in Smart India Hackathon - Hardware Editions. Vimal earned his Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. He was actively part of the TEDxGCT, Rotaract Club of GCT, and SAE GCT. His team, Screwtenizers - Baja Team of GCT, was the All-India Winners of the Mahindra SAEINDIA Baja Competition 2018 in which he led the Electrical Subsystems and Innovation.
