About me
With over 10 years of experience in physics-based system level simulation, I am currently a lead project engineer at Navistar Inc, working in the research and development organization. I specialize in electric vehicle thermal system modeling, using 0-D and 1-D modeling tools such as GT Suite, KULI, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape and Amesim. I also have hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools such as Siemens NX for design analysis and simulation parameter extraction. I am also proficient in 3D CFD tools such as ANSYS.
My core competencies include hardware in the loop development, validation and verification, and creating optimization routines for component design. I have successfully applied my skills to various projects involving engines, cooling systems, evaporative emission systems, cabin HVAC, electric motors and battery and braking systems for gasoline, hybrid, and electric powertrains. I have also contributed to the thermal system modeling workgroup at a major OEM for virtual HIL and SIL based calibration development, enhancing model quality and performing correlation with vehicle dyno data. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the automotive and powertrain industry, leveraging my domain expertise and software skills.
