How to get started in AI

"AI is going to kill jobs"

Been there, heard that. As someone who myself was a non-AI powered full-fledged Full Stack Developer until not too long ago, I know exactly what it feels like to have the sword of AI hanging over your head.

I went from not knowing how to use ChatGPT [it was blocked in my organization + I took pride in not needing AI to code :)] to becoming an AI Engineer in 2 months - and from a brand-new AI Engineer to Agentic AI Lead (India) at my company within 6 more months. What's the most bamboozling truth I learnt through this whole journey?

You don't have to be good at AI to get a job in AI.

In fact, you don't even need a background in AI to get a job in AI.

I definitely didn't have either of those things.
