I am Vikas Sharma, a dedicated and results-driven professional with extensive experience in Training & Placement, Corporate Relations, Alumni Engagement, and Student Development. Currently serving as the Head – Training & Placement at BRCM Group of Institutions, I am responsible for building strong industry-academia connections, facilitating student career growth, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance employability. With a strong commitment to empowering students, I have successfully coordinated numerous campus drives, industry collaborations, expert sessions, MoUs, internships, and workshops across engineering, management, law, and degree programs. I firmly believe that every student deserves the right opportunities, and I work consistently to bridge the gap between talent and industry needs. Over the years, I have built strong relationships with leading organizations across sectors and have taken the initiative to bring industry exposure directly to the campus through events, seminars, mock interviews, and skill-building sessions. My role also includes overseeing the Alumni Association, where I actively engage former students through networking sessions, alumni talks, and collaborative activities that contribute to institutional growth. I am passionate about career counseling, guiding students to choose the right path aligned with their strengths, interests, and emerging industry trends. Whether it’s conducting training sessions, interacting with companies, or motivating students, I always strive to create a positive and growth-oriented environment. In addition to Training & Placement, I also manage responsibilities related to Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and assist in fostering innovation, idea generation, and entrepreneurial thinking among students.
