👋 Hi there, I am Viivek Mehata. Currently acting as the Head of Marketing at Newtribe Capital - A Dubai-based Crypto VC firm. 😎 I am a Marketer by profession and a Crypto Nerd by heart. ✌ Ever since my school days, I have been hyper-active in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, all that involved marketing. ✋ After working with a dozen of different teams from my college in various events, I got my first break in the real world while working with a National NGO - Zero Gravity from Nagpur. 💪 I worked as an intern but helped the team with Brand Communications, generated sponsorships, and even worked as a Social Media Strategist where I led various campaigns and succeeded in raising funds worth 25k within a month. 🎉 Soon after that, in August 2018, I got another big break for working with TEDx where I acted as a sponsorship lead and helped the team bring in sponsors worth 160k within a span of two months. 🚀 From then, I was unstoppable as I knew that Marketing was fun and that's what I wanted to do. I even acted as the Technical Director for TEDx JNEC the immediate next year. Within the next year, I was already a part of a couple of startups: YellowBags Foundation, CC Cads, Neurotech Designs, and many more. 😑 I had an exit from some of them and some of them just didn't make it through, but that indeed ignited the fire within me for marketing. 💻 I got into freelancing later and worked as a freelancer on Upwork and Freelancer.com where I handled around 25+ international brands and 40+ clients.
