Research Roadmap: From Student to Lab Researcher
Learn to build novel architectures
About me
I am an AI Research Engineer and Researcher at the PRISM Research Group, NIT Rourkela, dedicated to advancing the frontier of Computer Vision and Deep Learning. My work centers on solving one of the field's most challenging problems: Tiny Object Detection in complex environments.
With an M.Tech (Silver Medalist) from NIT Rourkela and a research background at the Space Application Centre (ISRO), I focus on the structural innovation of neural networks. I am the architect behind TSRNet and CASNet, models designed to redefine the trade-off between semantic depth and spatial awareness in infrared and thermal imagery.
Currently, my research is pivoting toward Multimodal Sensor Fusion (RGB-T) and exploring training-free paradigms to enhance zero-shot capabilities. I am here to mentor those interested in architectural design, academic publishing in high-impact journals, and navigating the transition into industrial R&D labs.
