Neurodivergent Career Roadmap
A deep career path discovery session
About me
I help neurodivergent professionals build careers, work systems, and daily routines that work with their brains—not against them.
My professional background includes hands-on experience in human resources, recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, HRIS, personnel processes, employee support, administrative operations, executive support, and government workplace environments. I bring that real-world experience into my mentoring to help people navigate career development, workplace challenges, career transitions, and professional growth in practical ways.
I also believe that traditional career and productivity advice doesn't work for everyone. Neurodivergent professionals may encounter challenges with executive functioning, time management, task initiation, prioritization, organization, transitions, overwhelm, maintaining routines, and balancing work with the rest of life. My goal isn't to tell you to simply "try harder" or force yourself into a system that doesn't fit. Instead, we'll look at what's actually getting in your way and develop strategies that are realistic, flexible, and sustainable for you.
What I Can Help With
Career development — clarifying goals, identifying strengths, exploring career paths, and creating realistic next steps
Career transitions — especially transitioning from administrative, executive support, or other professional roles into HR
Neurodivergent career strategy — identifying strengths, navigating challenges, and building a career around the way you work best
Time management and organization — creating practical systems for priorities, deadlines, scheduling, task initiation, and competing demands
Workplace strategies — developing approaches for managing workload, interruptions, changing priorities, communication, and workplace expectations
Coping strategies — practical approaches for navigating everyday workplace stress, overwhelm, and challenging situations
Professional development — identifying skills to strengthen and creating an actionable development plan
Resume and career positioning — translating your existing experience into language that supports your next career move
Interview preparation — practicing answers, communicating your strengths, and building confidence in the interview process
Sustainable routines — creating work and life systems that are realistic enough to maintain
Self-care planning — creating practical plans that make room for rest, recovery, boundaries, enjoyable activities, and the things that help you function at your best
My Mentoring Philosophy
My approach is practical, compassionate, non-judgmental, strength-based, and action-oriented.
I don't believe that success requires becoming a different person or forcing yourself to operate according to someone else's definition of productivity.
Instead, I believe good mentoring should help you:
Understand yourself → identify what isn't working → recognize your strengths → experiment with strategies → build systems that fit your life → take manageable steps forward.
There is no one-size-fits-all productivity system, career path, or definition of success. We will focus on finding approaches that are realistic for your circumstances rather than creating another set of expectations that leaves you feeling like you've failed.
An Important Note
Mental healthcare is a critical and deeply important part of people's well-being. I am not a licensed mental-health professional, therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical provider.
My sessions are professional mentoring, career guidance, practical planning, and peer-based support. They are not therapy, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or medical care, and nothing I provide should be interpreted or used as medical or mental-health advice.
When a situation involves mental-health symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, medication, crisis support, or other medical concerns, I encourage you to work with an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental-health professional. My role is to help with the practical career, workplace, organizational, and everyday planning side of your goals—not to replace the professionals who provide your healthcare.
My hope is that you leave each session feeling understood rather than judged, clearer rather than overwhelmed, and equipped with practical next steps you can actually use.
