As a Product Security Incident Manager at Juniper Networks, I am responsible for vulnerability management process of our products and platforms, right from identification to remediation and disclosure (CVE). I collaborate with developers, engineers, security researchers and customers to understand the impact and severity of vulnerabilities, and ensure the timely and effective delivery of security patches along with advisories. I mentor and lead my junior team members on various team initiatives. I have over 8 years of experience in the field of application/product security, with a focus on penetration testing, threat & risk analysis, security architecture, secure coding (all as part of secure-SDLC), DevSecOps, and product security incident management and response. I have worked with various security tools and frameworks, such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Anchore, Nmap, Nessus, GitLab, Jenkins, and the likes. I have also worked to automate and integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle (S-SDLC). I have obtained the CISSP certification from ISC2 recently. I'm already a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) having obtained the same from EC-Council. I hold a Master's Degree (M.Tech.) in Digital Communication from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. I am passionate about learning new technologies and skills, and applying them to solve real-world security challenges.
