R/Shiny consultancy session

This 1-on-1 call is for you if you're looking for more elaborate advice and recommendations regarding the use of R and/or Shiny in a your specific context.

During this 60-minute call I will give you advice on how you can make sure you're making the most out of R/Shiny ✨.

Examples of what we could discuss:

• How to work with R/Shiny in your organisation: e.g. setting up the necessary infrastructure in a start-up or SME, distributing packages and Shiny applications and managing code bases.
• How to build and deploy APIs using R Plumber
• Scaling Shiny applications and moving beyond dashboards to enterprise-grade applications
• Drafting a plan to improve your Shiny application
• How to use R in production: e.g. setting up ETL pipelines
• How to deploy Shiny apps: from Shiny Server to Posit Connect and Azure App Service

Because I want to make sure your expectations about the 1-on-1 call are correct, some things I don't discuss during these calls:

• We won't go through your code to solve bugs 🐛
• We're not going to write code

I'm happy to hear more about your code, and I'm sure we will touch upon it in this session, but this session is not a coding session. I love to conceptually think about your code and helping you to create a clear plan for what you're going to develop.

To get the most out of the 1-on-1 call, please provide some details at least 1 day before the call. Think about:

• Background information regarding your organisation
• More information about the problem you're trying to solve
• Anything else that you think can be useful!
