  Context: Pairing on setting up observability stack Comments: Vedang patiently explained to me how should I think about observability in general, and what are potential choices in terms of stack and the data to collect. Then we setup the up the infra and he explained how should I move forward in the project. It was a productive pairing sesssion and I'll continue to work with him as a tech leader and thought partner.

  Vedang speaks from hard won industry experience. A constructive feedback loop like the one he created for me are rare, in my experience. Our session on backend development (a) gave me confidence that I am building the right understanding (b) created positive pressure to ship something soon (c) created a sense of accountability to this person, Vedang, who has acted in my interest. Apart from obvious love for software and programming, he has clearly invested himself in learning the art of coaching. He is not perfect, but he is very good.
