SWE to PM Guidance

Not a PM course. Not a checklist. Just an honest chat.

I've been a Software Engineer. I'm now a Product Manager. And somewhere along that journey, I realized there's a huge gap between what people think PM is and what it actually is.

This session is for:

• College students exploring PM (engineering or MBA)
• Entry-level software engineers curious about switching
• Anyone who wants to understand if PM is the right next step

Here's what we can talk about:

• What PM really looks like day to day (the good, bad, and surprising parts)
• How your current skills might translate or where you might need to build new ones
• What made me confident to switch and what helped me prepare
• Helpful resources that I actually used myself
• Most importantly, helping you figure out if this role makes sense for your goals

I'm not an expert with decades of experience. But I'm someone who's recently navigated the same questions and I'd be happy to help you think through yours.
