Hi there! I'm Varun Chaskar, and I've spent the last five years figuring out how technology works and more importantly, how to make it work better for people. How I Got Here My journey has taken me through some amazing companies. Most recently, I was at DNV as a Product Support Engineer, working with maritime technology systems like ShipManager and helping global clients navigate complex technical challenges. Before that, I spent time at TomTom, where I provided technical support for navigation devices and managed to solve most issues on the first call (over 80% first-contact resolution, to be exact). I also worked at Wipro Technologies supporting John Lewis & Partners, where I resolved 5,000+ incidents with a perfect quality score and even picked up a Rising Star Award along the way. I also spent a couple of years freelancing, helping businesses set up their WordPress sites and optimize their online presence—basically, I was the person they'd call when things broke or when they needed something to just work. What I Actually Do Over the years, I've worked with quite a toolkit: ShipManager, Azure AD, VMware, ServiceNow, SQL, Zendesk, SCCM, McAfee ePO, WordPress, and a bunch of other enterprise systems. I've learned that the best solutions aren't always the most complicated ones sometimes it's about finding that one setting or making that one tweak that changes everything. I'm also comfortable with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and I've dabbled in the XDA Developers community working on custom Android ROMs and modifications (Magisk, LineageOS, TWRP, ADB). When I'm Not Working You'll probably find me listening to music (I'm a bit of an audiophile 🎶), gaming (CSGO, Call of Duty, GTA V) exploring the stock market, or tinkering with the latest AI tools and web technologies. I'm always curious about what's next in tech and how I can use it to solve real world problems.
