I'm a psychology researcher and Assistant Professor with publications spanning Personality Psychology, Political Psychology, and Indian Psychology. My doctoral work examined the relationship between disgust sensitivity and political conservatism across age groups — a project that sits at the crossroads of emotion, cognition, and political behaviour.
I've qualified UGC NET twice (2022 & 2023) and GATE (2023), and I continue to push my own research forward. My current interests are moving toward Experimental and Cognitive Psychology, with a growing focus on constructing indigenous psychoassessment tools that are grounded in the Indian context rather than borrowed from the West.
On the supervision side, I've guided bachelor's and master's students through research across clinical, social, and political psychology — and I find real satisfaction in watching a student go from confused to confident.
Outside academia, I home-brew coffee, cycle regularly, go on motorcycle tours when I can, and read mostly non-fiction.
