In 2006, I opted to study Aerospace when the rest of my peers were choosing the better known and established fields in India. I like trying new and offbeat things, that gives me a more holistic perspective towards any situation helping to solve the common and uncommon problems in an efficient manner. Hailing from the mountains, I chose to join the elite profession of the Armed Forces as a Naval Architect. Sailing some of the most treacherous parts of the planet in wind driven vessels for almost a decade I also happen to be the only Indian and Asian skipper by far to go round the world with an all-female crew.
