About me

I am an engineer-turned #journalist. For the past 10+ years, I have been juggling between science, journalism and poetry. My career started as an engineer but as much as I loved it, the #writer in me never settled. With appreciation pouring on my blog and equipped with renewed confidence from IIMA, I decided to take the leap. Indian Institute of Mass Communication embraced me and changed my life. Immediately after the programme, Business Standard became my bootcamp into the world of #media. The transitions during the course of my career carved a serious #editor out of me. My journey through various educational institutes and government bodies has been incredibly rewarding too. While I have had the opportunity to work with the Rashtrapati Bhavan on few books and engage with very talented innovators at NIF India, I have also had the chance of learning best practices from some of the best minds in the world. As I kept learning and sharing my experience with wonderful colleagues across the institutes, my most profound memories are from the times I worked on few #books that completely pivoted my career. While the Transform Maharashtra book was launched by the highest state functionaries and who's who in Mumbai, the one by Defence Ministry was unveiled by then DefMin in Kasauli. Such "wow" moments inspired me to take up tougher assignments and kept setting tougher milestones for me. The awards only added more momentum to the process. After six years of media/government experience, Shivom was my peek into the omnipresent corporate #startup culture where I learnt to deal with unexpected challenges of a resource-constrained settings. It was like a roller-coaster ride replete with my share of bittersweet experiences. In 2020, I joined the Indian School of Business where everyday is a new learning. I am a careful editor, an impulsive poet and an avid dreamer. The top three on my very-long bucket list are learning Kathak, exploring Seoul, and writing a bestseller.
